Specifically the Pocono Lakes area

I had a cabin on the Little Red River near Greers Ferry Lake that I went in with family on.

Cabins built in the mountains, on a lake or properties near the ocean are less likely to be affected. 

It is located in the Salt Lake City area (Kaysville to be precise).

Great location lakes all of it, if you are buying in La Pine I think it will serve you well in the long run.

That’s why I invested in Lake County, Ohio.  

Otherwise, I'd focus on the hill country and the lakes west of Austin for better STR locations near the Austin area.

I have a few properties shortlisted that we would want as our vacation home in the Lake Texoma, Cedar Creek Lake, and Galveston areas.
