To me that is a pass. 

I contribute that much monthly any way as my side business helps to get me where I want when I retire. 

He's helping me to narrow down a potential multi-family property that I will be house hacking, (the deadline I have given myself to be in it is May).

To off-set the depreciation recapture, it would seem reasonable for me to request a concession (e.g., more shares) that's outlined in the Operating Agreement.

I’ve never had a realtor go over one of my inspection reports with me.

It does make me feel more comfortable as I know the are well as a Real Estate Agent.
