Since buying and holding real estate is the same all over the planet I thought of starting to look for a mentor.I generally understand most of the concepts and steps of the process, but having a mentor to follow along would be just perfect.

I understand the concept of the high calories and he would burn a LOT of them swimming 5 miles a day, but I just have a hard time believing that he could actually eat all the foods listed in one day AND swim 5 miles without upset stomach.

It's my understanding that the seller must agree to the concept of a short sale, so you wouldn't be able to do a short without the seller knowing it.So you'd simply get a contract that says you can buy the property if the bank will agree to a short sale.

This is probably a question for an attorney but had a concept I haven't tried that I wanted to float by you - no portion of the rent going to the downpayment but upon execution of the purchase the tenant buyer is "rewarded" with a fixed figure downpayment?
