Clearly, your broker needs to be informed as they are doubtless responsible for your contract activity... and it certainly would be a good idea to discuss how that gets handled with your broker.

I have absolutely no experience doing this at all, but I think you MAY get very close to your goal if you're able to buy a multi-family in a ski area friendly location and make it a short term rental ($200+ per night).I've had a keen interest on doing something like this in Colorado and I think it MIGHT be possible.
