Anything in Westport, Dartmouth, Far north of New Bedford only, Acushnet (but not near the proposed gigantic LNG tanks), Freetown, Lakeville (but not the cottage areas near the ponds), Rochester, some parts of Fairhaven would be considered, Mattapoisett, Marion, Wareham, some parts of Bourne (not over the bridge to Cape Cod), even Halifax and Plymouth.

@Mary Rutten@Scott Schultz   Mary I don't think Scott was talking about your guest speakersits well known that the bigger players in a market will troll the REIA's looking for newbies and dump houses on them that they may or not make money on.Eddie speed is there to sell his guru note courses... its how they drum up business.. these guys are all on a circuit and REIA's are part of the circuit.that said I have fond memories my Grandfather had a cottage on Lake Poygan out of Winneconnie  not sure if I am spelling those correctly.. but I spend many summers there in the late 60's and have very fond memories.I also remember though going back in the mid 80s with a car I rented in IL  and getting chased off of the driveway into the cabin by locals who I guess don't really like IL residents..

No one in their right mind would try to manage a portfolio of them with out a property management company (more expenses), weekly turn overs and such would be a real pain.Peak season rents where I was at was 1500-2500/week and I saw a FSBO for 540,000, which I figured was probably on the 1500 end of the scale.On the other hand I saw a small cottage listed for $700k and the headline of the listing was BRING YOUR BULLDOZER.

For example in Bellevue the zoning code allows you to rent out the ADU but not DADU, and the DADU is only considered as a guest cottage.
