I have a handyman who does counter tops, floors, toilets, and myriad other jobs, and a semi-retired painter and his housecleaner wife are a great combination I call on when a unit goes empty, and can do drywall and counter top work too.

I'd then find a handyman or painter to come in and tape off the cabinets, windows and doors and shoot the entire home with Kilz-oil based paint - including the floors.

I once pulled over to get a painter's number while I was looking at property in a neighborhood and saw him painting the exterior of a different house on the block.
