He wants to show there is a better way, and I think there is merit to his teaching.That said, once consumer debt is eradicated, disciplined budgets are honored, and savings are being generated, I believe acquiring assets by taking on strategic, calculated debt can be an excellent strategy for building wealth.

@Mark Parzych,The answer to your question of course is going to come down to your personal preference and the strategic direction you want to take.  

Be smart, hire a financial adviser, and if you have an interest in real estate, make sure you let them know that so they can assist you in the most strategic way possible.  

Buy a few IP cameras (couple hundred bucks), and place them strategically throughout the property where you know work will be done. 

We live in an instant-gratification culture and the truth is that to make a good living in real estate you just need to be consistent with strategic, proven actions.

@Matthew Paul I understand if its ground zero by all means she should stay home and I'm not familiar with the city so use your best judgement but i just hope everyone who works at the hospital doesn't decide to stay home because than anyone who needs the hospital would be in a a lot of trouble but use your best judgement and im only so interested in the whole topic because baltimore has always been an interest to me... i drove through many times going down south and stopped for lunch a few times...Also i would consider some of the leaders of the groups of looters (if there organizing lookouts and conspiring these "strategic looting and scattering throughout the city") terrorist.... its a harsh word but really thats what they are by some standards taking advantage and using fear or terror to there advantage..... and WTF are they looting from a CVS??

You should be able to find cash flow in San Antonio, albeit not extreme high levels of cash flow, but in very strategic areas (middle ground between the nicest most popular areas and the ghettos).The good news is- it's not you.
