im not sure how that would fix your problem.  6" of stone would support the weight of a mud slab of concrete, but not an entire house foundation if the ground under the stone was super saturated

As far as investments, these two neighborhoods are past starting to be gentrified and are actually fully saturated with almost no inventory left outside of the locals that have been living here for generations and keep their properties in the family.
