It's the economic hub of the state, good long tern growth prospects.

We live in a "fear porn" era and the doom and gloom headlines are what many consumers take as facts. 

The city is the hub of retail sales for North East Texas with shoppers coming from all corners of the Ark-La-Tex.  

These are the same people I see buying a new expensive car and a year later it's missing hub caps and the windows are down on a 100 degree day because the A/C is broken and they have no money left for upkeep.

The project is called "CT Fasttrack"  it runs regional buses (including Bristol) to a hub in New Britain.  

This is a small town (population approximately 1500) but it's only about 7 miles from some of the job hubs in the surrounding area. 

We are looking at a property that will likely appreciate reasonably well – there is new infrastructure being built, connecting the neighborhood more directly with the “hubs” in the region etc.

Old Town Scottsdale is basically a tourist area/ major entertainment hub. 

BS in Finance and currently working on a BS in Computer Engineering.My goals in real estate are followingenough income to pay for my basic cost of living (housing/food)enough income to pay my student loansenough income to fund my Roth IRAenough income to feel comfortable focusing my time and energy pursing endeavors, whether they are work related or not, that I enjoy and find stimulating.My strategy to do this is via rental properties near hubs of workers/tenants that are somewhat systematically immune to the ups and downs of the general economy (i.e. universities and hospitals).
