Just my experience.

My SFH investment s will help me absorb my losses, so it’s a good learning experience.  

I don’t have any direct experience with retirement accounts as I never opted to use them so I could keep cash available for investing now.

Does anyone have experience of setting up a STR while in the same position? 

In my experience, most have limited product offerings.

So how are you going to convince an investor, presumably an American, to invest in a foreign country where he/she presumably has no experience rather than investing in his more profitable backyard.

I would recommend going to someone that has experience in identifying photo shopped documents. 

Maybe they are only six months in and don't have any real experience to speak of.
