Houston has a horrible public transportation system but we have always looked to improve it.

I am looking into turnkey companies too, it's horrible ROI where I live and  also since it all be my first Real Estate purchase I want to start with something not very expensive and learn on it ...it all comes with practice, right :) I have a question.

I'm reading your post as "it would be nice to have a HELOC," not "we absolutely need these funds or else horrible things will happen," so don't do this if that's a correct reading of your post!

He was going to use the $29K to pay off the classic car, pay back some friends and most importantly pay the rent for awhile until he can get back to his concrete job (weather).This guy was in a horrible situation before I got there and was just going to lose this house to the bank.  

Wells Fargo is notoriously horrible when it comes to short sales. 

But to answer your question, both Been Verified and White Pages' data is horrible.

That's pretty horrible!

I realize now that the contract I signed was my biggest mistake and even though I had provided a SOW on the initial walk through, I made the horrible rookie mistake of not having it signed/included in the contract.

It's also horrible on your lungs so be very careful.  

If you can't afford it then you can't afford this property.90% sure... it only takes one issue to make this a horrible deal!!
