You can sue him, but he's likely to have a judge not be so harsh on him if he's on SSI to begin with, especially if he has a good story about the other guy being mean and wouldn't leave.

I got a brand new fridge & stove last thanksgiving at dirt cheap prices we couldn't pass up, with no storage, we stored it outside with a few tarps... to my dismay-- they survived.. 3 snow storms, i was really nervous.. worried we threw away $$... but after 3 snow storms and a very harsh, cold winter. 6 months later... they survived... which makes me your fridge was just on it's last leg!

I'm on the verge of making an offer on a 2/2 on the Southside (a good part of the Southside), yet I'm hesitant because I've heard the harsh Pittsburgh cold/snow can make units hard to fill in the winter.
