There's just the two distinctions on the most common means of lending.

Napa Valley holds the distinction, as far as I know, of being the only municipality in the United States to arrest and imprison an individual for running a short-term rental without a permit.  

As a backup plan -- in the case that he will not accept 2ed position -- there is a chance that the seller has paid the 200 K which is on county record for 2014; if so, I will see if he would be willing to subdivide the land (there are three distinct cabins), conventionally finance the two smaller, and owners finance the largest. 

The way I am looking at it, the products would be entirely distinct -- If the jeep is rented on Turo, and the house on Airbnb, how do the issues become conflated legally?

In point number 2 above, (if I'm understanding correctly) you made a distinction between a homeowner's policy with a rental agreement versus a dwelling policy.

It has characteristics that are both similar and different from long term rentals and short term rentals, hence the distinction.

Hey @Jupshy Jasmin,A good way to approach is to not look at the sale of the original asset as a distinct transaction separate from the purchase of the new asset, but rather as one transaction.

It has beach communities, central downtown, and a bunch of distinct neighborhoods with their own character just like LA.
