Selling my Ft. Lauderdale property soon

I have a single-family home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL that I am considering selling to buy a multi-family property to Airbnb it. First of all, how does that process work regarding selling the property to buy a new home? What have been your experience.
Second, the next property will likely be out of town meaning I will need an Airbnb management company, where are the best places to buy Airbnb homes and what companies are the best?
