Accounting for local real estate market conditions, population growth, job market, rental demand, and the overall economic outlook of the area a few locations to consider are:Boise, IdahoBoise is experiencing a boom in real estate demand due to its growing population and job growth, particularly in the technology and healthcare sectors.

A country is wealthy as ours -- especially one that wastes as much money as ours -- has no excuse for anybody going hungry, anybody not having a roof over their head, anybody not having access to good health care, anybody not having access to clean water, etc.Capitalism and ensuring that people's basic needs are met are not antithetical to one another.  

I think South Euclid, between Mayfield and Cedar, actually could be a great place for airbnb, with the nice suburban feel, and proximity to John Carroll University, Beachwood, tons of healthcare spots, etc.Additionally, Lakewood, Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, and Beachwood could be solid spots for short term rentals.

Lovely, furnished, short-term rentals are needed in areas with growing industries and businesses, universities, great scenery or vacationing, and of course health care.

A year later (in 2010), the Small Business Jobs Act and the Health Care Reform Bill added some clarity to the filing process.

We are also 1 hour from Madison which has a huge stable jobs base in health care, tech, and education.What I like about it is a lot of what others are saying - good deals, low turnover, low crime, etc....I have to disagree on appreciation though.
