I live and work in Silicon Valley.

My words of advice are to use tiny nails on the end caps and some silicone underneath where the DW is.

Additionally, it is 1.5 miles from the Playa Vista area, where a lot of tech companies are starting to move to and build a "Silicon Beach" area.

The commercial belt has a little bit of a silicon valley feel, I don't know how else to describe it.

growth in price is slowing and will slow more... yet hold value more or less, if you were here in 2008 you noticed the prices in sf and silicone valley held.

Expect your working people , craftsman , to know about The things you are not an expert in or do not have much care about such as the brand of silicon caulking, or nails used, or type of screw used to fasten Things etc Or the gage of wire used inside the wall which you have no idea of how to spec that unless you are a master electrician...

It's a highly desirable place to live for families because of the amazing school district and proximity to San Francisco and Silicon Valley. 

I rigged that with some silicone caulk, and then put the trap together again.
