Don't lock yourself into only one scenario as the world has a way of really messing with those plans (not that we need a reminder of that these days)!

They always find new ways of reminding me why I am leaving.

This whole thing reminds me of the stripper scene in the Big Short where she talks about the 5 houses she owns.

If and when tenants contact me, I will be reminding them of the gov't assistance and that rent should be their #2 priority behind groceries.

I was reminded quickly, HIRE GOOD CONTRACTORS. 

I had a tenant years ago that had moved in and had not purchased insurance, a week after they moved in I reminded them to get it and provide me with a copy. 

Right now you have no job, money, etc (hate to remind you but I'm right there with you).

Use this as a reminder to get your affairs in order for your beneficiaries’ benefit. 

We can't just forgive the rent (the owners we represent would not like that very much) and we cannot serve notice to pay or quit.We show some empathy, let them know we understand, and remind them that the rent is due as soon as they are able.
