Hotels are often boom and bust, they have incredible upswings during periods of economic growth (think business/recreational travel).

The vast majority have no to very little real-life use/value, other than niche/"recreational"/neighbors/holding/etc With a little experience you may be able to pretty well guess which of the initially promising parcels might actually make it to auction - they will have a complicated title report/history, signs of complex liens or county issues, or owners who are truly hard or impossible to track down.Bid for assets has developed a nice little "scam" - for lack of a better term- where they require the deposit (and charge their ~$35 fee) well in advance of the last day owners have to pay off back taxes.

The seller has agreed to fix the issue but will not be able to re create the situation until it is hot out again.

Don't necessarily trust every single thing someone tells you, but don't completely recreate it either.

IMO, Breckenridge has it all of you want access to a vast trail system (all seasons/sports), recreation paths, events, and a walkable/bikeable lifestyle downtown.

If early retirement and financial freedom is your goal, I'd just keep doing what you have been doing and recreating that success. 

Some clients have chosen to recreate the calculations in the patent (you can find it on google) in an excel doc with their own personal numbers.

Areas with new or recently renovated homes are best.Amenities: Neighborhoods with parks, recreation facilities or shopping centers.Here are some helpful websites that can assist you in determining the classification or quality of a neighborhood. www.neighborhoodscout.com www.walkscore.com or www.greatschools.org  

If these are ones on wheels they would be more closely aligned with Recreational Vehicles and land usage can be tricky as I believe you may not be able to keep them in a place for more than 30 to 60 days.
