I do fix and flip but always use solid wood cabinets, boxes and doors, as they present better, aren’t affected by humidity as much and can take a beating.In any case, for fix and hold, I’d want a solid wood cabinet so they last longer and won’t require replacing as often, especially here in Florida where moisture tends to find a way to destroy things.

Per the inspector, this can allow moisture to enter the SE wire and corrode the meter bases and/or the main panels.

And when you get moisture behind a poor stucco job in our climate, you could have a $50K problem between the mold and the rebuilt exterior.One wonders if these new subdivisions will look just as dated as the 70-80's split-levels or the 50-60's ranches in thirty years.

It comes in every color and style laminate does, it's not susceptible to moisture and water like laminate is, the cheaper value vinyl is typically as durable or more as some of your mid grade laminates, easier to replace when one piece is damaged...and as Hadar said, its way easier to replace a damaged piece of vinyl plank than it is laminate, and it installs far more easier with much more flexibility
