In today's litigious society, I want to make it as difficult as possible for an ambulance-chaser to have access to my personal assets.

Hedge funds and REITs like American Homes 4 Rent have been busy in our market, scooping up a lot of inventory over the last few years, making it hard to find good rehabs for buy & hold.  

I would love to meet or talk to those real estate investors who live or work from Napa, CA or nearby like American Canyon, Sonoma, Yountville, Santa Rosa etc about their experiences and possibly how I might be able to learn by helping them.

I'm an engineer, engineering honor society, etc, but I'm all left brain, the right brain is just a big hole.

I've contacted First American and they seem to be reasonable but have not hammered out all the details yet.

It will be money well spent now, instead of a lot more money spent later.I use American Tenant Screening for background checks.
