I find that the cheapest things to do that make the house go that extra mile are:Curb appeal of coursePainted cabinets and maybe new knobsPainted doors and new handlesnew carpet/hardwood or just very cleannew electrical switch platespaint or replace trimtile in foyer or just nice flooringnew shower curtains or clean sliding doorsadd window shutters painted an offset color of the housenice mailboxto expand on curb appeal:clean gutterspressure wash or clean sidingLandscaping is almost a must to sell really fastexterior lightsThese are just a few and are very basic items that can add to that WOW factor.

When I acquire a property, I sell it on my website in addition to e-bay, Yahoo, and by direct mail, and classifieds.I am also considering e-mail marketing, but no one likes spam.I will post my website here when I pass the 10 mark.I print my own flyers with color and black and white printers, ( I use two passes, once through a color inkjet, then through a laser.)

I doubt that you'd be able to do anything with the stone, it's been that color for a few million years.

If you're running display ads, when possible buy placement and always buy color.

It's always good to have matching applicance or at least same color.

It is all about representing the BP colors . . . the more people see BP on FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc, the more likely they will check us out!

I'll have to stop listening to the color commentators from now on.
