I also would take a course or two that will give you some computer skills, you don't have to be a programmer, but having the ability to do the easy stuff yourself is a good idea. 

You can probably find it if you go to the courthouse and use their in-house computers.

As a web developer I spend most of my day in a cubicle behind a computer screen which I do not like.

Since everything is on the cloud, I'm not worried if something happens to my computer.  

Or just go for it, find a house buy it and start learning all you need for that is loan officer and a computer.
