I have heard about Fund and Grow and decided to join their Business Credit Program.

To keep the momentum going I've joined BP to get more education on acquisitions, financing and connect. 

I'm new to real estate but happy to be joining this community.

With that reality, we are faced with the "If you can't beat them, join them" question. 

I'm hoping to find out if there's any real estate investing groups in the Syracuse area that meet regularly I could join and start making more progress in my investment education.

There is a neverending source of potential TC clients at whatever brokerage you plan to join, but you have to remember that each brokerage has a different back-end system that they work with.

And here's a checklist: ask for references, see their financial statements, Do they conduct regular inspections, and can you join them occasionally?
