I use a neutral color satin finish on walls and semi-gloss a few shades lighter for doors and trim in open areas of home.

But I ran into that when Brie and I started Turn key reviews.. there are very strict rules you must follow when your allowing the public to make negative comments on a company.. and as the site operator you have to remain neutral just like  trip advisors or other sites that allow reviews.. public can say what they want but the site it self has to remain out of the picture for liability purposes.

Being said that closing attorney appears to be neutral but just i can't trust them.

Why not just use an escrow/title company as your neutral 3rd party?

I'd paint some of the bedrooms a more neutral colour. 

In the lease, I listed out certain fixes they would do, including that they would paint the wall to neutral color.
