The only issue with my home is location I live in a tiny town a couple hours from nashville I have built a ton of equity in it but rent in my area is very low and STR isn’t the hottest either it’s very rural but a lot of people are still moving here.

The Lehigh Valley real estate market is one of the hottest in the Country.

Denver/surrounding communities have been tabbed by Zillow and others as one of the hottest markets in the country for 2016.  

I was shocked since my mixed use building is right near downtown Denver which has been one of the hottest markets for years now, but it is commercial corridor that needs to be revamped.

Going back to your question of North Carolina, it’s very market specific....over the last two years the Raleigh area the Charlotte area have been two of the hottest markets in the country... several other markets are strong as well.... know your market, do your research...you’ll do well.Good luck.
