Don't listen to the BS on the sales call, get hooked up with rently or buildium or others for a month, really devote yourself to working with it, after you try several you will find one you can live with.

It easy to lose money when you are not watching what is going on and there is a steep learning curve as well.I'm not sure what your best options are with $4,000 but I don't think real estate would be until you had more time to devote to it.

In a nutshell:o Live in SF area of CA, have a day job (which I greatly enjoy) and family so minimal time to devote to RE.o Have some cash (up to $50k depending on other projects I may have going at any time), can draw on a HELOC, and excellent credit.o Own 2 rental properties (SFR) that both cash flow.My question is regarding where to look next for investments.
