For $150/ft in rehab, I would think it would have to have very high-end finishes.. travertine, custom amazing cabinets, some viking appliances etc.But I've also heard people that do their own work say "there was $200K in rehab performed".

So here is the main question I keep getting caught thinking I should do all these things like knock out the wall to create a better floor plan, replace cabinet set to allow for more functional use of space, crown molding, floor boards, ect.

Houzz has a milion photos of kitchens nd baths to see color schemes.The rule of thumb I have heard is dark, light, dark or the reverse when choosing floors cabinets and counters.

I heard a leak and after some detective work and cutting open the back of my kitchen cabinet I finally have located a few pin holes at the bottom of a kitchen copper drain line.These pin holes unfortunately are impossible to patch in that the cause is corrosion and is almost always caused by tenants or previous owners sending hazardous chemicals like Draino down the line and those chemical sat at the bottom and ate at the line and eventually you get holes.

The now vacant unit received: new carpet/vinyl, cabinets, appliances, paint, interior doors(old ones were destroyed), vanities, toilets, tub surround, HVAC rehabbing and some electrical outlet upgrades.
