It's also not a "job" where business is handed to you (some brokerages will give you a leads for a hefty split of your commission, but they will expect you to be working full time as an agent).

That being said, If you are looking strictly for referrals I'd look into the online brokerages that have just simply great commission splits and not much else to offer, I believe one is home smart, exp is another I believe but you'll have to research. the trade off is that there will not be much guidance nor business funneled to you.

If you are already under contract (in backup) and have delivered the earnest money, you could simply cancel and take it to a new brokerage and have them resubmit the offer..
