Career Architect with own firm for 40+ years (I'm old???). 

As an Architect I believe the majority of my colleagues don’t have a good understanding of how to build modular so it isn’t promoted enough.

., but I am just looking for a ballpark number for construction cost $/sqft in the area as well as costs to draw up plans.Any information or connections to good contractors and architects will be GREATLY appreciated!

But I am trying to do an estimate of an estimate as we have not reached the stage to talk to architects and GCs yet.

We had to hire an architect, HUD consultant, Lawyer and negotiate with an older, stubborn seller.

You need architects/engineers and expediters, which adds anywhere from $30-$90K in soft costs to renovate.  

He's digging through the code and he'll be the architect for the project!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good architect in the Boise area they can recommend for a small job like this?
