SALT and Property Tax deduction losses have some offsets.From what I understand, and maybe others can comment, is that the offsets include changes to the Standard Deduction, AMT and some of the affected Property Owners will be Business Owners or have Business Income, benefiting from a 20% deduction of Net Business Income.I don't believe that the Majority of of those affect by SALT and Property Tax deduction Changes will feel the full impact because of the above.Also, there is a concept of Sticky Prices.

@Jake HancockSeems like you are in a sticky situation.If you deed the property from the corporation to your name; this may be deemed a distribution.

Now a rent house that's vacant where the city code inspectors are all over them like white on rice is a different matter.

I'm not saying that it can't be done but it would seem that it might be a bit sticky. 

My best advice is to get the sticky screen patches for small holes on screens it saves a ton of time and headache.

Just saying,  in the PHA you'll find 12/14/18 inch commercial  grade tiles glued not the sticky back stuff, buy extras to have on hand.

It could be a great way to get out of your sticky situation.

It can get sticky and complicated when you mix business and family.
