Intuit no longer owns the product, even though the product hasn't changed a lot i think they are working on making it a better product. and for the record, i use both products for my multiple businesses.

Scary going by someone’s intuition .

To me, it feels like the seller has something to hide but I have very little (basically none) experience in real estate so I'm relying on intuition.

It's amazing how effective either of those techniques can be by themselves or when you combine them like that.I used to do some of this intuitively, but a lot of it was reinforced or learned from John Martinez.  

I find the VRBO system out of date, clunky and not as intuitive.

Full disclosure: My company was not impacted, other than we changed our collection service provider to Intuit's invoicing.

But the interface was not intuitive for me.Innago, is my current favorite.

I know it sounds counter-intuitive but make sure you follow your state's laws regarding notice o forfeiture of the deposit.

Building costs have also disproportionately skyrocked for these same reasons and others which is counter-intuitive as usually increased productivity and advancing technology lowers cost over time-  apparently not in construction.
