I have a friend who owns several SFH in Japan, but you don't "really" own them unless you own the land - which is another can of worms.I have several colleagues who are married to Thai women and they seem to have good luck buying personal residences.

The presenter had the numbers to prove what you and your custom builder experience several years ago.Anyway, keep an eye on TREIA as there are lot's of good meetings including the general meeting, smaller localized subgroups, and groups targeting new investors, advanced investors, and women investors.
