We work with many domestic investors who pay cash and finance and many overseas investors who pay cash.  

I was aking what rent price was getting recieved for these properties, what type of prperties are a hot topic over seas, I know nothing about overseas real estate investing however I know enough about domestic investing my goal was to get a feel for the international oppourtunites out there, are they positive cash flow?

I'd equate my market as similar to Denver or Charlotte, although I'll let you guys give your own opinions on that as well.Any advice, analysis, critique, hatred, or attaboys are welcome.

Brought a realtor in and she said she can rent heated apartments all day long no problem, but since there are 4 gas lines in the property for 4 separate domestic hot water heaters, was thinking to switch ti individual boilers for each unit..  

I too have an utter loathing and hatred for bed bugs, having been eaten up by them before and then having an allergic reaction to them.

I have a couple of friends in the military and it is true that when they are deployed that their domestic cell phones usually do not work.

@Joel OwensI have not owned a bank though I do know people who have looked into getting a banking license (though it was over 5 years ago so my memory might be rusty) we also had a number of regional banks as clients of my firm.I would say being President of a Bank might be status thing but owning one probably has more to do with te numerous benefits of owning a bank1) You get access to domestic and international payment networks and the ability to easily move money around, etc.  2) The biggest benefit is the ability to take in insured deposits and get access to the cheapest capital on the market through interbank capital.3) If you have multiple businesses it can serve as excellent choke point for your money as that money can loaned out, etc.4) There is definitely a prestige factor associated with it but you also get access to types of customers you would not otherwise be dealing with because they use you for other things and you know how much they have.
