Is it reasonable to expect tenants to take care of things (ie. not putting wet dishes and other things away in the cabinets..not banging the edges of cabinets when they put things away…not dripping water on outsides of cabinets leaving it… and things of that nature)?

Like has been said, you should pay them for the bid if they don't have much chance of getting the work.The costs vary by area, but there should be pretty standard rates for painting per sq/ft, hanging Sheetrock per board, carpet per yard, hanging cabinets by box, etc.

So this is an easy one.I cleared all the junk from the sink cabinet out so they don't get wet when I take the trap assembly apart.

Hello All,We are trying to bring a fresh look in the kitchen cabinets in one of our rentals.

There is still another 4-5 weeks remaining before completion (mainly due to the cabinet contractor being too busy). 

Like refinishing my cabinets and re facing with bamboo.

I did everything from find the deal to installing kitchen cabinets, all while I was working with teams in different time zones and customer needs in my "day job".It does get better.
