Been browsing Flordia a lot and talking to a friend born and raised there for some advice With that said, I will note during browsing listings that some properties mentioned the 'Taxes paid' included the homestead exemption, which is for those permanent FL residents only, which should probably be accounted for in your analysis.

It seems like a large majority of SFHs that I would consider house hacking, if not all, are usually negative cash flow while occupying one of the rooms (that is only from browsing through platforms like Zillow & Redfin, may be able to find some better deals through an established RE agents when I get to that point in capital).
