I suggest your next lease have such a clause and that you make sure you can find the lease (but i have also somehow lost a lease recently).For where you are now, without a signed copy of lease i believe your options are limited.

I just signed a bunch of disclosures from my lender and after reading them it has me thinking, "Is there a cheaper way to do this."

Even though it's tough, you'll get stronger and smarter than those sitting on the beach waiting for the tides to turn in their favor.

These things never seem to work out well 10 years later when you need them to sign stuff. 

My bigger question is: do people NOT have an attorney review what they sign before they sign it.
