A cut in the politicians pay by about 75% would weed out those who are in office for the money & those in office to represent the people.

Unions killed the golden goose by pushing for pension and benefit packages that were unsustainable and weak politicians gave in when their coffers were full.

Hopefully the politicians in this country will see the benefits of it and get this legislation passed.

While politicians and others disregard any notion of "class" in the US, (it's one of the reasons we broke away from England that people were locked into a class society) it is very much alive and well here in the US.
