I don't recommend you knowingly take out an owner-occupant mortgage with no intention of honoring that clause, but I know many people that do it, and have never met anyone that got caught.The moral being: while I am sure you can do all those things you are asking about, I, personally, don't see why you would go through the trouble and costs, when you don't need to to get mortgage on the multi.

This thread is borderline comical.The moral is: if you don't know real estate, it is risky to invest directly and it is risky to invest passively. 

The sooner you accept that the sooner you'll  be on your way to success in  life, financially, socially and morally.

So, the moral of the story is title insurance is valuable, but like any insurer, you'll likely need to hire your own attorney to get them to pay out on a covered claim.

That’s not a political or even moral arguement just basic math, in theory if zoning allows it and we get more skilled immgration at least economic theory suggest they should be able to build more houses per person that they consume.

Its not intended for general public consumption.
