Would you purchase a home made before lets say 1980?

Sometimes old houses with shoddy construction and home made add ons cannot be resurrected from the dead.

I was working as a waiter/bartender at Chili’s Bar and Grill and that's when Jackie offered to tell me how to get started in real estate investing.

I say that because of my previous thread about a tenant giving some homemade fudge with last month's rent.I was invited to share Thanksgiving dinner with one of my tenants and his family at their apartment.

Not sure anyone will see it, LOL.I'll probably include receipts for my chili, post my gas mileage on my overland trips, have pics of the yacht, some powered parachute flicks.......no, just kidding, it will just be RE and finance.

But, I should have remedied the "Home Made" apperances to these items mentioned.I learned the term "Offends My Eye" from a dear freind I made in Houston while I was racing sports cars.

My 8 year old peered into the murky depths of a home made barrel full of algal infested water sitting where the rain flows off the roof and said she saw fish. 

Make home made meals every night.Then you get a tenant threatening to sue you and you can't sleep for nights on end.

I come home, made my wife a drink, set down next to her and told her that I have something to tell her.
