As far as frequency of communication, I would say at least 2-3 times a year to discuss any changes, such as an acquisition, and any year-end strategies based on how our financials are trending.

And most critically, we've had to explain the sizable amounts of money we've spent overseas and on travel expenses - as our first daughter is from Colombia, and our other two are from a country bordering Turkey and Iran.So yes: we've traveled extensively to countries with colorful histories, and have large transactions of cash in and out with some degree of frequency - we're the perfect borrowers :-)

I do most of it myself and enjoy the activity but the frequency and timing of the calls making it a problem.Some of the Tenants make a pet rock look smart and call and complain about everything.Others never call and handle minor issues themselves.I'd like to get a handyman to handle the calls but to have even a low priced Handyman go to the property, check out the problem, resolve the issue with 5 minutes of work and use no materials, because the tenants are pre-Madonna's or are too lazy or stupid.

I am a licensed developer in Oregon I am the principal in all that I do here.IN other states I build in I am the principal but its not necessary to be a licensed developer Oregon is unique in that law.. and of course in Oregon that law is broken with the same frequency as those that wholesale without a license in states it not permissible to do that.
