They'll do everything on their phone and may not have laptop or desktop though.   

I also started leaving my school laptop, planner, etc. at the school at the end of my days, and that has helped me to make an important separation.

A laptop may be preferred due to portability but if there are suggestions of desktops I will look into them. 

I keep my laptop open while I drive with my phone as a personal hot spot.
