Took one booking, the tenants broke contract by bringing a pet (dog hair and a bone were left behind), and Landing was not exactly pleasant to deal with in recouping security for extra cleaning and damages (dog used the ceiling fan remote as a chew toy).

A few thoughts...One I had something similar with a neighbor who had my number and texted me after I moved out of my unit and moved a tenant in to complain about my tenant and his dogs.

The illegal process is to show up and chase him off the property, secure it again, and use methods to prevent entry again (dogs, security system, signs, armed person sleeping on the property, etc.).

Cheap curtains hung up on the first floor, a welcome mat, lights on a timer, battery operated fake candles on a timer, big size 11 men's shoes and big men's jacket hung by the front door, two empty dog bowls, a tie out in the back yard (for a dog), fan on a timer, foldable table and chairs with a tablecloth and centerpiece, and radio playing on a timer.

I'm in Ohio - it can seem boring sometimes but I look at it like a base, the weather can be bipolar in the winter and spring but no natural disasters happen here that don't let me sleep like a dog at night, I travel south a lot too during the winter months here.
