I have attended many of the online webinars and I have begun to read, and plan to finish, the "Top 20 books all R.E.I. should read" as listed from BP.

I've now read a couple real estate books (currently reading Anson Young's Finding and Funding Great Deals), and have begun to develop a solid foundation of real estate knowledge.  

Now that I have begun researching real estate investing, my interest in home rehabbing has only grown and I could say Im willing to leave the safety of my welding job in order to gain the skills and knowledge of the contractor field.  

We are both from Marlton, NJ (South Jersey), but he has since moved to Greenville, NC to pursue a career down there when he graduates after this semester from East Carolina.I am closing on my first deal as we speak and he has begun to look at places for himself.  

I am fortunate that she is just as passionate about investing as I am and we've begun conducting a long term investment strategy that will begin post marriage.

I've begun my real estate investor journey and am currently working on my property analysis technique/skills.

In conclusion, I don't buy into the market collapse idea, but I also think the correction has already begun.

MichaelJust for full clarity, for 195 to apply to your expenses they would need to be otherwise deductible in the year paid (but for the fact that your business has not yet begun).

I've begun to analyze deals for practice and yesterday I found what looks like an incredible deal (maybe I'm just being ignorant though).  

If the eviction process has already begun, and you have no plans of stopping it, then it is more acceptable.
