Here is a little bit about me:ExperienceMy Real Estate experience in the traditional sense is minimal, however I do have Real Estate experience in some capacity with my job; I work as a site acquisition specialist for a large tower company, so part of my job involves researching properties and negotiating leases with commercial landlords for antennas on rooftops.

Here's more info:Federal LawThe Federal Communications Commission Order 98-273 prohibits landlords from restricting a renter's access to antennas or dishes as long as the installation meets certain criteria.

If they ask if they can get the cable company to wire their unit, say, no, I don't want them messing with my walls.There is also a law I researched a while back for someone, that says a tenant can install dish TV antenna, if they have their own patio or outside space.

If it takes the person an unusual amount of time to send me a picture that i know is readily on their phone, the "antenna's" go up.A couple of other things I do is ask how many people will potentially live in the property with the tenant.

I got rid of cable, and use the antenna, as well as the fire stick.I will continue to do most of the high dollar maintenance on my properties up until point where it doesn't make financial sense.
