Great access to the outdoors, 300 days of sunshine, thriving real estate market, killer restaurants, cool neighborhoods, high desire-ability and strong economy (good for find high quality tenants). 

Went to college in the sunshine state and moved to Indy after graduation for my job.

This is someone coming from Colorado too, with 300+ days of sunshine at high altitude and very cold winters and wet springs. 

My point is that you can make it work either way, but the important thing is that you take action.One final note - investing out of state is challenging and not all sunshine and roses as some make it out to be.

Just because it looks good on paper doesn’t mean it’s going to be sunshine ,lollipops ,and rent checks !

Most of my travel there was during the pandemic, I actually quarantined there for 14 days in August 2020 (I can't complain with a 180 view of the beach and a balcony for sunshine and air).Mahalo!
