I am an active duty Soldier with 27 years of service, a six figure income from my salary (not including my properties) and a fico that hovers around 780. 

I am not sure if the Soldiers/sailors Civil Relief Act applies to this, I cannot imagine that it wouldn't be acceptable.

But, occasionally, there is a circumstance, such as a soldier getting order to move elsewhere, where its acceptable. 

I know we run events for returning soldiers, health related issues that have hit older vets, it is what those clubs do, it is why they are there.

The VA provides guidelines for intermittent occupancy for individuals who work overseas or for soldiers who are deployed.    

At work, I have all the support I need from my fellow soldiers and we get the mission done.

I would even suggest going to the housing office on post and asking them for who they would recommend in the local area, as they are the ones who work with property managers everyday in renting out to soldiers.
