Hello!

My name is Derek and I am a soldier currently serving overseas with the North Carolina National Guard. I am interested in learning about real estate investment to help my future and become financially stable. I am also taking online classes through Liberty University for a degree in Criminal Justice. I don't know much about real estate, but I hope to learn quickly!

Hi @Derek Parsons! I see that you are looking into the Raleigh area. If you think about expanding your area, consider the Sandhills. Pinehurst and Southern Pines are both located approximately 45 minutes south of Raleigh. Pinehurst (you may know) is America's Home of Golf. We have hosted the men and women's U.S. Open multiple times and our area is growing at an exponential rate. Being a bedroom community for Ft. Bragg military families and with the new U.S. Kids Golf Association training facility in the works, things are just booming. While this time of year shows a slow down in the market nationwide, we are busier than ever.
