Suburb conversations in metro Atlanta are like debating religion.  

Do not mention or ask questions about race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, sexual orientation, marital status, or familial status.

I understand the race/religion/sex anit-discrimination, but what about the stuff you find on Facebook?

Lots of people find genuine inspiration in religion despite the fact that much of it is based on deception and make-believe.

I know nothing about you, your sex, race, religion, education, career, etc. 

You cannot discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, disability, age (40 or older), or military service.Some landlords run credit checks, but I don't want to pay for the reports or hassle with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Religion did.

I found an interesting article on the web at:[LINK REMOVED] It basically says that landlords do not have to rent to jerks and that "as long as your reason for not leasing to a person has nothing to do with their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status or handicap, you don't have to.

Things I remember learning from the course, and now forget: how many sq ft an acre is, what the "back 40" means, random information about where property rights end if you buy along a body of water (being in Ohio, this means lake or river).Things I learned, that I have never used while investing: All the random legislation like Fair Housing Act, lending laws, etc, when these laws were enacted, which one covers religion and which covers age...
