Hey, I'm getting ready to transition out of the military in the next 2 to 3 months and I have 20k in savings and I want to procure a mulity family unit in Georgia.

Procuring a Tax ID was a different process and another $50 I think. 

Anyways, I am looking for anyone in the Twin Cities Metro area of Minnesota to network with regarding experiences with rental properties, buy and holds, fix and flips, etc and the methods to procure those properties within the state of Minnesota. 

However, the seller's agent may push back - and there may be a fight over commission as the seller's agent will have a claim to both buyer and seller commission because they can claim that they're the "procuring cause" of the sale. 

Since I currently work as a Procurement Forester and I'm responsible for finding "deals", specifically buying timber from private landowners to sell to our sawmill facilities, the whole REI made sense to me from the land acquisition side.  

Another deal I procured by reaching out to the owner of an obviously distressed property.

My friend recently procured a house in Spokane, Wa for a great deal.

One caveat in the below analysis being that if your supplier is too small to procure a full futures contract they may be buying from a wholesaler so pricing will be higher.
