To me, what I wrote is mostly plain old common sense.Andrew, sadly, we all too often tend to leave our common sense at the door in the face of a well-crafted piece of misleading marketing (I was there too when I began).

I'm teasing but in seriousness I have found using a plain doorknob with NO LOCK paired with a basic programmable deadbolt to work well.

It's now a focal point of articles since it's a sexier subject than just plain old getting some roommates.It's been around as long as real estate has been around.

They were the bank, plain and simple. 

But to bust somebody's rear for painting  a house or planting trees in a lawn is just plain ridiculous because it's over $500.  

I buy the plain white Ikea tableware.

I would love to help out more with your decision, but I'm one of those lame people who signed up and paid lots of money but only got through the first lesson.Most of it is about wholesaling, which I decided was not the route I would like to go.I just finished getting my real estate license and plain on trying out some of his principals then with generating leads. 

My local apartment association even gives members a lease that's plain English and approved by the state Attorney General and the lease definitely protects a landlord against things like this.
